camille69
I am a new recruit from the ASP camp and wanted to know if the layout of the tables and web pages is controlled by CSS or by html, or perhaps both, if any one can tell me where and how to start making this thing look more like my own I would be most appreciative and , please in the simplest (non techno-chic) language available. Thanks in advance
Guest
a great friend is the Wiki documentation, and modifying the CSS works great too.
camille69
Where in the WIKI docs should I look? I have gone through it and not found any direct documentation as to how to change table size, web page size etc. Thanks
camille69
I have answered my own question, and for others who seek to know... http://wiki.oscommerce.com/docsCatStyleTabWidth To make it easy.. It turns out that there are quite a few pages that use the width=100%, if you want to make this something else say- 760 pixels you must find the table tag near the start of the body in the pages that use the width=100% and change the value, you can also at this point add justification (left, center, right). bit by bit piece by piece. the answer to my initial question is yes it is both css and html that control page layout.
