Guest Posted January 6, 2004 Share Posted January 6, 2004 you will not be able to see their password in cleartext, it is encrypted. there is a contribution so you can create a customer in admin or submit an order for a customer in admin. is there any special reason you need to know what the customer has used as a password? picaye Posted January 6, 2004 Author Share Posted January 6, 2004 the reason i want this, is that i have the coupon system installed and it looks like some customers didn't get their discount - although the coupon administrator says, that the coupon has been taken. i see no other solution than login as the customer and see what's going on (i have the suspicion that they've been credit the coupon amount, but it didnt go on the order...) :ph34r: pino Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Guest Posted January 6, 2004 Share Posted January 6, 2004 create a different account, with a wierd name for you to use and see what is going on. if a customer does not use a coupon, it is their fault. however, if they let you know immediately after an order that the coupon did not work then you may have something misconfigured there. i use coupons on my site and the majority use the coupon, some do not use it, because either they forgot, etc . . . they can always order more product if they want to use the coupon Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
