ok this addon, the customer info, puts the customers (NAME) and (EMAIL) that they have in their account info in the the desired INPUT boxes

Name: __________

Email: ____________

 

it only puts them in if the customer is logged in. Otherwise the spaces are left blank.

ok i got it to semi work, if i take out the } else { out of the page (all 3 including the customer info addon) it shows up in the error box that would show up when fields are missing. the weird thing is that it woud show the normal box and the error box, underneath the main helpdesk_submit.php page contents.

You are using the same variable name for different purposes. Change your code at the top to:

Place this code somewhere near the top of your page. Then modify the form to insert the values:
