Guest
When someone decides to get something before they log in and they try to check out it states url not found, But if they are signed in before they pick an item they can check out fine. What do I need to look for to correct this problem Thank you
♥Vger
Sounds like you may have inadvertently removed a link somewhere. If someone tries to 'checkout' and they're not logged in they should be directed to the Login page. Vger
Guest
I'm sorry I forgot to add that part. They are sent to a log in page. Once they hit log in they are sent to the error page
♥Vger
When they are sent from the Login page to the 'error' page, is your browser showing an https link? Logins should be done via https, and are configured that way within the programme itself. Vger
Guest
They get sent to this page: https://code3supplies.com/catalog/shopping_...a45999efebea66e If you are already signed in you go straight through to check out. If you cart is empty and you sign in everything is good to. Just when your cart is full and you try to check out before you are signed in
Guest
is this a new store? i went to your site, and your host is ipowerweb. they are using a fairly old version of PHP and just about everyone I chat with is having tons and tons of problems, in using them. I have asked them to upgrade php to 4.3.3 or higher however they refuse to do that, so most of the people i talk with are switching to another host where they get lots of support, basically you pay for what you get. I also noticed that I do not get a 'cookie' from your site, could be a setting in your configure.php and you https from what i understand of ipowerweb, should be https://host84.ipowerweb or something like that, and you do not have it going there. This last only applies to resellers at the moment but are being added to ordinary 'user' sites this month. Hope this helps - Vger. p.s. osCommerce requires php 4+ to operate - says so in the blurb. Guest
What we (another developer and myself) did last week, was use various versions of PHP, when UPS or USPS were installed with 4.1.2 and going to checkout, it failed and gave the infamous 404, page not found. We kept going up in versions and when we reached 4.3.3 it went through no problem to allow checking out. We did not use ipowerweb for this, as no matter what we did on ipowerweb it failed. we tried to upgrade php manually on ipowerweb but we are limited on what we do. this was tested on red hat linux, and freebsd, all with curl installed too. just personal experience, even though the documentation may state just 4.x . . . Guest
p.s. osCommerce requires php 4+ to operate - says so in the blurb. Q. What Version of PHP are You Supporting? Answer A.If you have a script that requires Perl 5.004 or later installed on the server you will be able to run the script on your site. Currently iPowerWeb is operating Perl version 5.8.0 on all of its servers. Moreover, all iPowerWeb servers are operating on the PHP version 4.3.2 Looks like I am usin 4+ php
