Cy Jobes Posted January 4, 2004 Share Posted January 4, 2004 It would be great if there was an easier way to edit the categories section so that you can format it the way you really want it to appear. In addition to formatting it, allow the description of each product to be viewed fully next to each product. I'm my case I want the user to see the product description next to each product in the category. This would eliminate the need to drill any further, since the info can fit on these pages without taking a lot of room. The option to click for more detailed information could be a switch in admin for each product. I would not limit the amount of text that is shown in the category section, although it could be an option if the developer wanted to limit it. It should not be assumed that it would always be the case. --------------------------------------- You have a great product, but it lacks the ability to easily be edited, despite all the contributions. I hope this is remedied in future releases. If it is not feasible for upgrading, then possibly make a completely different version and see which one takes off. At this point I can't use it because the ability to edit the category section the way I need it is not there.
