So do I need to have him turn on IPN and which Contribution should I use to make Paypal work? And are there any flaws left, or does it actually work? cdi-buy.com Posted January 4, 2004 Share Posted January 4, 2004 all I can tell you is install that contribution and he'll have to enable IPN in his paypal account. if you need any specific help, just ask. you can shoot me an email with the email link below if you want/need to. as for other contributions, I have some experience you can see by visiting my website below. The PayPal Shopping Cart Contribution is just an older version of the PayPal IPN. The link I posted is the newest version so far and as far as I can tell, the cleanest to install and most functional. PayPal is entirely member-based. With the latest (and I'm sure with others as well) IPN Contribution installed and enabled, most of the information is filled in for the customer when they are prompted to create an account on the PayPal page.
