JaceB
I want to take this line out of the signup email Address Book - We can now deliver your products to another address other than yours! This is perfect to send birthday gifts direct to the birthday-person themselves. we don't use seperate billing addresses...where would this be found? I tried all in the includes/english but didn't see that line anywhere...
MattMallory
I simply did a search for "now deliver" in the source code & found the text you want to change located on line 24 of the includes\languages\english\create_account.php file Glad I could help. Now I hope some one can help me. I am having problems with that same line of text but in a different fashion. I tried to format the text in that line with <b> <br> & <h3> etc but it does not seem to take. All the text in the e-mail just come in as one paragraph. What do I need to do to fix this so that I can emphasize the text in the welcome e-mails? Knowledge is Power!
cdi-buy.com
if you have mime html turned off in Admin>>Configuration>>Email Options it's probably reading it as plain text.
MattMallory
if you have mime html turned off in Admin>>Configuration>>Email Options it's probably reading it as plain text. That was it! Thank you. geejaye
if you have mime html turned off in Admin>>Configuration>>Email Options it's probably reading it as plain text.? Thank you so much for this reply! This answered a different issue for me. I was having problems with order confirmation emails for customers who had a double name configuration with an ampersand, such as: Mary & John Smith. The name would show up fine in the database and in their Welcome email. However, the name in their billing and shipping address in their Order Confirmation email would show up as: Mary & John Smith The simple change in admin/configuration/email options above fixed all. Thanks again!
