OMalleys
I have messed up my installation, I had edited the stylesheet for a thema (thema4) to get the look I wanted, but when trying to add a mod. I messed it up - I have restored a backup but now the main page mrsomalleys.co.uk/osc/eshop/ doesn't look right However when I click the nav bar link to go to mrsomalleys.co.uk/osc/eshop/default.php it looks fine (except the banners are sometimes missing at the bottom). Is the main page calling a different stylesheet or what is the prob - i don't know - any suggestions apreciated. Q. How or where do I edit the main page to define the layout to be the same as default.php ?? David

dzilm
have you tried copying in the original index.php, starting in the catalog directory, then the english directory?? Naturally rename the originals. That approach saved me having to re-do the whole she bang from scratch (cause I did some non-compatible stuff all at once :-(
OMalleys
Thanks David, I hadn't tried that - but sadly it made no difference - thanks for replying though ;) David
OMalleys
SORTED :D I shouldn't have had an index.php file in either /eshop (/catalog) or /english, deleted the index.php and seems to work fine now, In keeping with "honesty is the best policy" - I don't really know what I'm doing half the time but it seems to be working  Thanks to all who took time to read / reply!
