Pcsphere Posted January 2, 2004 Share Posted January 2, 2004 I recently installed the Live Support v1.2c mod downloaded from the 11/22/2003 release and have some problems I hope someone can help me with. When I attempt to remove someone, I hang up and it gives me a 404 not found error. This obviously leaves me with a list of customers still needing to be talked to on my waiting list, yet they should have been removed. Even when I reset the database they aren't removed. Also, is there some way I can change the refresh-rate on the chat box so it doesn't look so choppy...have it look like it's streaming rather than refreshing every so often? The text box for people to type in is a bit annoying, especially if the user has a large amount of text. Is there any way I can make the text area bigger and allow the text to return automatically after they have reached the end of the box...rather than going on like it does? Lastly, I'd like to change the graphics to fit my site a bit better, where should I go to edit the formatting? I also noticed different colors...do these rotate with different users? OK. I fixed the problem. When I pasted "on click " sentence, it was broken and made the page not working.... Here I have the same problem: can not remove someone. Once I remove, it tells me to hang up, when I hang up, the page can not be found, exactly the same as the first post.... Means, if the customer does not hang up or close his window, the system is stuck. Another problem is when customer close window by X not by close, then admin side still receive calls from this custoerm. So it is completely stuck Am I right? Can anyone help? Thanks. But when I start live support again, the 2 calles come back. Very strange, seems database is not really reset. Whatever I do, the 2 calls hang there. What happens is it tells me to first hangup then close session. and I click the hangup button on the windown(not the main window), it then gives a 404 page. Guest Posted February 24, 2004 Share Posted February 24, 2004 I'm getting a similar problem, where as after i close the live support then restart, i keep getting that really irritating sound repeating and a window flashing up in the background. It only flashes up for a second then disappears. Its very annoying, and i really cant be dealing with removing this plug in. The program is called help center live and it really works... It has minor glitches for the mac, but most poeple use PC's.
