b0bbyv
:( Dazed & confused. I just install a fresh copy of osCommerce. When i try to edit my php files to customize my site, I keep receiving this Error: I can not write to this file. Please set the right user permissions on: /home/webhead/public_html//account.php Any help would greatly be appreciated. Thanks, Bobby :(

b0bbyv
Nic, Bear with me here. I'm new to PHp and osCommerce. How do I go about making the change to CHMOD so that I can set the files to 755 or 777? Thanks, Bobby
Guest
It is recommend that you edit the files locally and then upload them to your server. The error is caused by permission settings on files/directories - you can use your FTP client or your webhost control panel to set permissions.
