keress Posted January 1, 2004 Share Posted January 1, 2004 I've been getting weird reports in my web logs of a obscure page on my site getting a thousand hits a week. It's one of those automatically-generated German language pages, which I haven't (up till the last few days) done anything to develop. I've been advised to look into the possibility that there's a "spider trap" on the site, and the 'bot is getting stuck there. Does anybody know anything about this? I wouldn't know where to look.
