danix
(Since my other post will probably be yanked). I confess I'm not much of a database guy at all, I barely understand the concepts. I've got the default site running, have added categories. The standard product fields you see when you add a new product are not exactly the way I would like them. I thought you could change this under "product attributes" but as best I can see, you need to make any changes directly in mysql, or through phpmyadmin (is that correct?) Well, I added two new fields (oe_number and man_number) and I see them in the database, but when I click to add a new product, there is no difference and those fields do not appear. Confused... danix
Well, I found a contrib to do this, which was just a readme. Tried following the instructions and now my php is broken. Maybe I should have gone out drinking instead...
danix
OK, used a double quote instead of a single. I'm tired. If anyone is writing a "TEP for Dummies" book, please keep me in mind for the review :)
danix
I've hit a glitch. I used the document "Adding _product_fields" and it is working OK, but when I download my product list with easypopulate, the new fields do not appear in there, though they are in the catalog itself. Do I need to do anything extra to make easypopulate "see" the new fields?

Found a few contributions but really I might as well be reading Greek!!!
