bobfed Posted December 31, 2003 Share Posted December 31, 2003 I'm an OsCommerce newbe. I have to decide , for my company, if to use OsCOmmerce to give e-commerce solutions to our customers. So, i spent a short time analizing it. i have some questions that can help me to go on. Formgime me if the questions are obvious. - is it possbile to have multiple e-commerce sites , fully indipendent to each other , on the same server (Apache on linux..) ? - it's possbile to implement connection poolong to the database Mysql ? - i read the README of STS. if i well understand it can be used to add/remove features to the site, not to help the web designer about the graphical presentation. How it's possible, in a simple way, to modify the graphical images of the site ? All of the images that are used with the store are in one directory. (includes/languages/[language]/images/, if I remember correctly...) As for the products/categories/manufacturers themselves, the images that you set through the control panel when adding a new product are automatically uploaded and renamed to a pre-defined directory.
