Guest Posted December 30, 2003 Share Posted December 30, 2003 I suppose i the the installation, now point the browser to www.mariedawn.com/catalog/index.php but get this error Warning: mysql_connect(): Access denied for user: 'mariedawn@localhost' (Using password: NO) in /home/mariedawn/htdocs/catalog/includes/functions/database.php on line 19 Unable to connect to database server! but i have been able to access the database, but accessed throu the net like this. it cannot? 241 Posted December 30, 2003 Share Posted December 30, 2003 check your configure.php files carefully for paths, take care with the parts for database /home/mariedawn/htdocs/catalog/includes/functions/database.php check your absolute path names you are showing localhost is this a virtual server No longer giving free advice.
