Order Status Configuration

I have authorize.net module installed and also the default check/money order module loaded.

 

If I set the check/money order default order status to "Awaiting Payment"

And set the Authorize.net to "Awaiting Shipment" and my main default order status is "Processing" both authorize.net and check/money order payment set their status to Processing. Is there a way to fix this and have them do it like I set it in each individual payment module?

I have the same issue and have not figured it out yet. :( Hopefully someone will help.

You can try this, but no guarantees that it will work.

 

Insert a new Order Status, under Localisation --> Order Status. Make this new one the default (tick the box). This will remove the 'default' status from whichever other Order Status is currently set to default. Then - delete the new Order Status.
