It all seemed a bit daunting at first, but it isn't so bad once you get a handle on the file structure and the db. I have ms2.2 with attribute sorter copier v5 contrib installed. Here's my question: On most products, I need to offer the option to pay in full or just a deposit of $100. The deposit will always be the same amount for all products with this option, even though the products will vary in price. I assumed the best way was to create an attribute called Payment with the 2 options in full and deposit only. I can get this to work but I'm afraid it might be a bit confusing for users. For example, on a product of $300, paying just the deposit makes it look like -$200 until you get to check out. I tried the Actual Attribute Price contrib but it gave me problems at checkout (negative values or zero). I am wondering if there is another contribution that might accomplish what I am trying to achieve. Or if someone knows of another way to do this.
