Actual Attribute Price

Hi folks,

I'm just setting up my first shop. I downloaded the AAP contribution. I installed it per the instructions but it seems to be looking for a file categories_lookup.php which I do not have.

This is a great mod and I need it to make my shop work properly.

Any help on getting it running would be appreciated.

OK, I've made some progress. I found the file categories_lookup.php in the attribute sorter copier. I don't feel up to actually installing that contribution, so I just plucked the file and slapped in on my server. Is this legal?

Anyway, it works now, but I see a few problems. I just want to know if this is normal.

In my case, I have the price of a product is defined as $500. I have defined an attribute called "Payment" with options "In full" and "Deposit only". I defined the Value price as $500 for the option "In full", and $100 for the option "Deposit Only". I left the prefix blank for both.

When I select the option "In full", on the shopping_cart.php page I see the Total next to the product as $0.00 and the Sub Total at $500. If I select "Deposit only, I see the Total as -400 and the subtotal as $100. While this is correct, it looks a little confusing.

Is the way it is supposed to work or have I done something wrong?

Is there another contribution that I should be using to accomplish this "payment in full of just the deposit" behavior that I am looking for?

Thanks from a newbie.

Oooh - just saw another problem. Using the examples above, when I select Deposit Only and go to check out, on the order confirmation page, the total is -400. If I select In Full, the total is 0 (zero)

This can't be normal.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks again.

  • 7 months later...

I just installed this mod. but am getting following error:

Parse error: parse error, expecting `T_OLD_FUNCTION' or `T_FUNCTION' or `T_VAR' or `'}'' in /public_html/includes/classes/shopping_cart.php on line 387

Fatal error: Cannot instantiate non-existent class: shoppingcart in public_html/includes/application_top.php on line 259

Does anyone one know what this could be due to?

I have MS2 with GV mod installed

Thanks in anticipation
