standa
Hi , Is there an easy way to format a HTML specsheet page into a single text line so it can be put in the Product Description field of EasyPopulate (ie the specsheet page). I have 250 products and the want to copy the HTML into the CSV load file for uploading but as HTML indents and <ret> everywhere , I can't copy it into a single Excel field. Could do it manually but would rather not! Any work arounds or suggestion? Regards, Sonny
Guest
Any work arounds or suggestion?Try using openoffice.org rather than Excel to get around the 255 character limit. Hth, Matt
emanresu
We use Easypopulate with an excel import. Make sure all the cells are TXT. There's no 255 character limit that we can see. Citizen of US Minor Outlying Islands
Nimitz_1061
I'd suggest finding a grep type tool for your system and using it to change carriage returns to <br> or something similar. Works for me.
