My hosting provider offers OS commerce and for the most part, I like it. I particularly like supporting the open source concept. I've hit a lot of speed bumps and a couple walls. The walls include getting cusgtomer address information in US (or North American) format. I found a related contribution but the files to change didn't resemble the files on my site (using Ver 2.2 MS2) The next problem may be related. When a user tries to buy an item, his current shipping address comes up as just a single comma. Lastly, in pouring through these forums for answers, I have found frequent references to the daily snapshots. Should I be downloading these on a regular basis or waiting for Releases or milestones. I have a little programming experience (1st year university - about 15 years ago) and no experience with php scripts before I started on this. My hosting provider has pretty much decided that OS commerce is too complex to be of use to most of their users. I'd like to prove him wrong.
