i installed the disable right click contribution to my store. it works as it is supposed to, however, i noticed that i can still right click the pop up image that is provided in the product description area. is there a way to disable the right click in the pop up image area? if so, how would i do it?

thanks in advance.

Add the javascript to popup_image.php - waste of time IMO - people will leave your website in droves

Do you really think so. I mean even if right click is just disabled on the poup image only and no the whole page/site?

I find it hard to agree. Would love to hear why you think so.

I find it to be very anoying when right click is disabled. I dont usually leave the site but I do get frustrated. One site had a script on it that wouldnt let me copy or paste anything via right click, and I was working on code in dreamweaver. I thought I had some problem going on with my PC and it turned out just because I had a site minimized in my tray that caused right click to be disabled in all aplications!

Also, why bother. All anyone needs to do is go to View Source and then get the info from there. In fact, if I see right click disabled and I want something off the site, I will purposely find a way to leech the content off out of anoyance.

oh, something else also. I use right click to get screen captures, view source, and most of all when I want to print something. It is very annoying then also that I cant right click to select print because people think they are protecting their images.

The context was disable right click applied to the whole store - many people will leave immediately for the reasons outlined by Goanna - many surfers have a habit of using the right click menu.

If it is applied to the pop up - well, it is not likely people will leave, however, it will not stop those who wish to have the image from taking it - it resides on their own hardrive as soon as they open the page
