fitzov Posted December 22, 2003 Posted December 22, 2003 I ftp'd the catalog folder. Then went to the address to start installation. I get to the database server page and enter the following: the server ip, my username, my password, and a name for a new database (I used 'commerce'). Session storage "files" is checked, and persistent conn. is unchecked. when I hit "continue" I get the following error message Access denied for user: '[email protected]' (Using password: YES) I can think of a couple of reasons why this might be happening. The above is not my username, and this is a new host. Why does the script return the above username? Does anyone have any idea of what I am doing wrong here? Also, the graphics on the install pages is damaged somehow. I uploaded the catalog folder in ASCII mode. I hope that is correct. Is there any reason why the graphics are messed? Maybe this is normal.
