The base install allows you to charge the same rate for every item (look in admin > Modules > Shipping > Per Item). There is a contribution called Individual Shipping that allows you to charge a different rate for each item. UPS allows you to use their system to calculate costs per shipment based on weight. Not sure which you want to do? Perhaps more explanation? Examples? Hth, Matt
