REMOVING IT, Products Expected!

Hello,

 

What i am trying to do is, when in the admin creating a new product and i set the date available and enter the new product, it shows on the main page in the catalog right under the new products model like it is suppose to, but what i want to do is make it to where it will not show in the new products model and make it to where it will not show it in the what's new infobox.

If anyone could help me with modify the code to make it where it wont show the products expected, in the new products model and the what's new infobox I would be very grateful!
