Link based products/discounts?

Hi guys,

 

I am trying to setup a newsletter feature, where I can offer special discounts for users subscribed to the newsletter only. For example I have a newsletter with new items in it, and it would be a great way to have people sign up if I would offer additional discounts if ordered through the newsletter.

 

Also I would like to offer products in the newsletter only, which are not available to regular users.

 

What I am thinking of would be something like this:

 

http://www.shop.com/product_info.php?produ...discountcode=xx

 

the discount would then be given for everyone entering through the URL (it's ok if they pass on the URL - that still means sales to me ;)), while the regular price would be shown otherwise.

 

Also when adding the product, a feature like "invisible" would be great. If set to active, only direct linking would work.
