bs2713 Posted December 19, 2003 Share Posted December 19, 2003 I just switched hosting companies and uploaded and installed OS COmmerce to my new server. I then uploaded the my OS COMMERCE commerce from my old server unto my new server and copied the sql database as well. But I still get the message "UNABLE TO CONNECT TO DATABASE SERVER" when I got to my domain/catalog Can someone please explain to me where I went wrong or what am I doing wrong? 241 Posted December 19, 2003 Share Posted December 19, 2003 did you remember to change the two configure.php files. admin/includes/configure.php catalog/includes/configure.php to reflect the path changes to your new host, check these files settings first No longer giving free advice. Please place deposit in meter slot provided. Individual: [=] SME: [==] Corporation: [===] If deposit does not fit one of the slots provided then you are asking too much!
