PayPal Problem

Okay, I didnt install the IPN on my site yet, as I need to do it by editing all the files myself, and not the overwrite and run method.

 

For the time being, I want to use the regular PayPal app. It workd fine, but it submits the total to paypal without the shipping fee.

 

I went to a test site and set it up the same as I have it and placed a test order using the regular paypal module, and it went through fine, including the shipping fee. So I dont know why it doesnt work properly on my site.

 

I do have some contributions installed. Does it not work properly with some of them? Is there anything that I need to change so that it includes shipping cost in the paypal total?

No, I never did, I just switched to the IPN version.

I just signed up with PayPal and it seems that you might have to go to your account with them and setup the shipping and tax information there within your account. I am looking into this further at this time.

I just confirmed this.

 

You can add shipping and tax information by going to your PayPal account and go to Merchant Tools then click on the link for Buy Now Buttons then click on the button Add More Options. Here you will be able to add these features which will show in the OSCart Purchase.
