geekmom
Hello, I'm attempting to setup an authorize.net payment module. I have the account and pwd that authorize.net has given the contact person here. I've tried to put the information in to the module and it comes back with: (13) The merchant login ID or password is invalid or the account is inactive. From authorize.net Is the login ID and password entered into the authorize.net module? I see no place for password but there is a Transaction Key field. What goes here? I looked at the wiki docs in the payment module admin but didn't see any information about authrorize.net. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place? Thanks, Rebecca
geekmom
Okay, I figured out how to regenerate a transaction key from authorize.net but it still gives me an error when using that transaction key and the login.
vasttech
what are you using for the userid? I have had the same problem in the past. If you are using the login id that you use to login to the authorizenet site try using your authorizenet merchant account number. If you are using the account number then use the login id for the website. I have seen your problem before with both scenarios and by switching the ids it fixed the problem. osCommerce Knowledge Base osCommerce Documentation Contributions

I tried both and they both give the same error (no 13 that my password or login is incorrect.) Thanks, Beckie
