Guest Posted December 19, 2003 Posted December 19, 2003 We have moved our site from a Unix server to a Windows 2000 server. I have imported the database and configured the shop and it works perfectly when using the default install package (2.2). However, when I upload the original files (from the Unix server), excluding the config files, to format the shop like we had it, I am getting the following error: Warning: main(STS_START_CAPTURE): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in D:\Inetpub\VirtualWebs\oursite.com\www\catalog\includes\application_top.php on line 511 Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required 'STS_START_CAPTURE' (include_path='.;c:\php4\pear') in D:\Inetpub\VirtualWebs\oursite.com\www\catalog\includes\application_top.php on line 511 I am desperately seeking assistance. Any one have any ideas?
joeyjgarcia Posted December 20, 2003 Posted December 20, 2003 I think you are hosed. I am in the same situation and I did an internet search and found hundreds of posts about this error. I even have seen posts at bugs.php.net. Not single post had a solution. :( Here is my post, try searching on the "pear" text (which is the default include path for Windows). http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/index.php?how...00entry277136 Unlike most people, you hit the nail right on the head! It is a Windows/PHP issue. If you find out a solution, please let me know! HTH
Guest Posted December 20, 2003 Posted December 20, 2003 So this is a problem with the STS Templates then? Because it does work fine without the templates being used in the default look.
Guest Posted December 21, 2003 Posted December 21, 2003 Does anyone else have any ideas on this problem? We really need to get this site up. Thanks.
