PayPal Problems (New?)

Guest

Recommended Posts

I have installed the most recent IPN mod for the PayPal modual MS2 release of OSC.

This has eliminated the problem with orders not showing up but there is a new problem.

Customers are reporting that they are getting a message after completing the transaction that their payments have failed. yet they check their paypal accounts and it shows as the payment being successful. We have checked our paypal account and it shows the payment has been made and registers the order. BUT... the customer is getting those messages that the payment did not go thru even though it did...

What gives?

Any help would be appreciated. you may contact me at [email protected]

THANKS!!!!

Which ipn contribution are you using?

The Knowledge Base is a wonderful thing.

Do you have a problem? Have you checked out Common Problems?

There are many very useful osC Contributions

Are you having trouble with a installed contribution? Have you checked out the support thread found Here

BACKUP BACKUP BACKUP!!! You did backup, right??

I hate to be a pest but..

Does anyone have a suggestion on this one?

Or advice as to a paypal module that seems to have worked well for others.

I need to use paypal as a second option because I want a backup for payments other than 2checkout in case I experience any troubles when they transfer me over like others have experienced.

Perhaps I should look for the words " your payment has failed " and change them to " success, your order has been recieved ". ;)
