Guest Posted December 18, 2003 Posted December 18, 2003 I just went to donate a few $$ to osCommerce, and eventually found donation links on the list of the main contributors. Seems like the simpler the contribution process is, the more contributions you'll get. Having to pick an individual out seems unfair and makes the process of contributing much harder than it should be.. also I had to really hunt for where to donate.. I just downloaded it and installed it on my server, at this stage I don't know/care who created the modules I'm most interested in, or did the work that's most important to me personally.... OSS projects obviously aren't about the money, but for the people that do want to chip in a few $$ to say thanks, don't make it difficult. I suggest a single Paypal payment address for osCommerce

He does the bulk of work himself...at least that is what the CVS commits seem to indicate. You can tell which developer last committed a particular file by looking at the 3rd line, which looks something like this: $Id: filename.php,v 1.10 2003/07/06 20:33:01 user_id Exp $ Possible user_id values include hpdl (Harald), dgw_ (David), project3000 (Mark), and thomasamoulton. I agree, it would be easier if there was a single place to donate. Hth, Matt
