crash3903
I have been running my store now for some 2-3 months and I have finally got it working with all the bells and whistles including wishlists etc etc... The only think I don't like is the buttons in the top right so any suggestions and any gentle feedback is appreciated... Be aware we sell adult related products - thanks My Webpage Thanks Mark Regards Mark A Reynolds
Tariq
Loaded a little slow? Im on broadband too. Maybe high traffic? Hrm First thing that I notice is the BRIGHT pink<IE>/purple<Netscape>... Lot of.. ::laughs:: overtures there, gonna leave that alone methinks.. But it is a little bright. Toning it down a wee bit would make it a little more appealing, as well as making the text easier to read in the Header Infobox images. Good job on that by the way. As I said, little hard to read, but presented well. Too much White. Maybe a little cream <<ahem, no comments>> to be the BG color for the infoboxes? Would break up the white content to the eye, and make it a little easier to look at, as well as presenting the boxes better. As far as the buttons on the right of the Header, you DO know you can get rid of those, right?? Hrm Quick question. Is the footer supposed to be bunched up to the right, and the text spread between the two columns, and not in the center at all? Shows the same in IE and Netscape... nm fixed while navigating. Ya musta been working on it :) Also dont like the colored slidebar in IE. Couldnt tell what was what for a moment, because there is no differential between the white of the scrollable area, and the white of the page. Again, taking out the "Requests Since" from the footer. Detracts from the content, and especially with it displaying the way it is right now... Kudos on making your own buttons but again, little bright :) The Thumb is CUTE for the Reviews@ Did you make that? Dropdown caregories... Hrm. With the amount of them that you have, you would benefit WELL from the DHTML Menu I think. Would keep your products out where they are easier to see, other than under a :Categories: box, and would make it a little easier to navigate. The Images need a bit more work. I have heard that the Thumbnail Generators are great for this, without squishing the images to fit into the Thumbnails for the pics, without sacrificing any speed, and even speed loading up. With having actual images, not drawings, that would be a good thing for you, I think. Also the clothing guide pics for the size chart is terrible to try and read. Maybe a Clix for enlarge? Blue Latex Briefs pic didnt show, and its listed several times in the PVC category?? <<ahems again>> Check your images for the products in the Girl Toys section. some of those are mixed up... Anyway you have a definate good start, though it could still use some ::laughs:: Tweaking :) Happy Coding!! sorry about the references, but I just couldnt help myself, and we ARE all adults ;D One of these days, I will actually understand what I just changed... But reading the Manual DEFINATELY helps...
