Guest
I've noticed a serious problem with users paying by paypal. So far every single paypal shopper has been going through the payment process, and when they get to the paypal 'you have paid' page they shut down their browser without clicking the 'continue' link. What is means in that the orders aren't getting completed by the shop, notification emails aren't getting sent to the shop admin, and all that effectively happens is the buyer sends payment but doesn't complete a purchase. I am getting all these notifications of payment recieved from paypal, but there is no record of their order, so I am having to email these people and ask them what they ordered. I can't believe there is such a huge design flaw with paypal. Has anyone else had this problem, and what can be done about it? Is it possible to set up the paypal complete page to redirect to the checkout complete page?

Guest
Thanks so much!!!! What will this do by the way? Will it make sure the user gets redirected to the checkout complete page? Or will it make sure the orders go through? Because the worst part at the moment is that there are no records of the orders that aren't completed, just random payments. Guest
You will receive your order confirmation as soon as your customer leave your store for payment at Paypal So event if they forget to click on continu after their payment at paypal, you will have already receive the order in admin The_Bear
Guest
I think I've missed something somewhere... I made all the changes, (hand edited, since I've already installed the voucher mod) but nothing has changed at all... I can't understand why. I've been into my admin panel, and there's nothing there to activate the paypal ipn module like it says to in the install file
Guest
Oh, not quite in topic, but I've noticed anothe problem. paypal doesn't seem to like the cookies settings when going through the shop. Users that have no problem with cookies using paypal are getting error messages telling them their cookies aren't set correctly has anyone else had this problem? Guest
I've made a screencap, incase my explanations aren't making sense. You can see the Paypal IPN section has been added to the left column, and everything else seems to be working... but... it's not here, for some reason... I don't know which files refers to it either.. Can anyone spot what I've done wrong here?
