Is there a custom order/price module?

I believe many people like me would like a module developed to take custom orders. Usually they are just one-time deal. really no need to create an item in the database , try to hide it then delete after each use.

any idea to make a custom order page where customers can manually input what they are buying with the quoted prices ?

A page like this:

 

Description of the item(s): ________

Price quoted: ________

 

(add to cart) (checkout)

 

then customers can go through regular checkout process to complete the purchase. I've used this kind of function in another CGI shopping cart system running database. so it can be done. anyone has an idea? thanx in advance!
