amitdas
I am trying to configure to sale virtual products which means no shipping, only download of product allowed. I have set Enable Download and Download by Redirect to TRUE in Download. Nothing installed for Module->Shipping. During checkout, the screen after submission of payment info, goes to confirmation and then states order will ship in 2 - 5 days instead of stating download information. Am I missing something? What are the steps?
Guest
are you accepting payment by cc and have the cc payments processed positively? you can change the setting in the admin panel, localization, order status to delivered. also, change the order will ship to something different, ie thank you for your order! amitdas
Thanks. I changed the order default status state to pending. But, how do I automate/manually send email of product download link to customer once payment is confirmed? I have Paypal and Check/Moneyorder as only payment types. Guest
you will have to go in and set the order to delivered, then the customer can download. if u were using CC, then no problem . . you will have to manually send the email once u set to delivered
amitdas
To send email manually to the customer about download link, what should I include? I have set Enable download and Download by Redirect to TRUE. Can I automate this procedure, where when I set the order to Delivered status the email is automatically send?
