Logging in Loop

Hi, I wonder if anyone else is having this problem. It seems to be with setting session variables from the SSL server and the web site server, but I'm not sure.

Version: MS2 2.2

 

Problem: I can't get to the shoping cart check out when a new visitor wants to purchase something. Here is the process.

 

1. Visitor comes to the site

2. Vistor adds an item to there cart

3. Vistor Checks out (goes to SSL server)

4. Vistor completes the New Customer form

5. Vistor Continues

6. Page letting customer they're account has been created (continues to shopping cart)

 

Here is where the logic probelm occurs. It should show the customers cart contents and continue the purchase process but...

 

7. Page indicates "Your Shopping Cart is empty!"

 

8. Customer wonders at this stage because before filling out the New Customer Form they had items in the cart.

 

9. The main option that the visitor performs is the continue where they are directed to index.php and this time a cookie is set, but the name is Guest and there product they had in there cart is now in the cart section (upper right)

 

10. So the visitor shows cart contents, which is it their item,

 

11. Attempts to check out.

 

12 Loops back to step 3 and continues the same process. (3-12)
