Really, Really Weird!

I get this really weird thing happen in my store. When I go to who's online, it shows me who is online (as it should).

 

However after going to who's online all my categories and orders dissapear in my admin. They are fine on the customer side of the site.

 

Then if i log out of the admin and go in again they show up fine, everything working fine. Except if you go and see who is online.

 

Has anybody else experienced this.

I don't know the problem, but it does sound rather interesting. I'm hoping to see a resolution posted for you so we all can learn!

same issue here.... i've been lookin thru the code and really cant find an error, but close the browser down, reopen and relogin to admin area and its back to normal

 

yes it's quite strange
