Zero Weight with now shipping charges - Help!

I'm running a non profit site that takes donations.

 

I desperately need to set up no shipping charges for items that are donations with 0 weight.

 

I'm using the USPS API and i'm trying to find a simple solution to this problem. Does anyone know how I could accomplish this.

In MS2, you could make them downloadable products (download could be anything -- even an image of a certificate or something).

It's funny you should say that. It just occured to me to try that.

Do I just set a download atribute and put in a file of any kind? What determines if it's a download? The download file?

 

Thanks for the suggestion. In the mean time I've been trying to install the multi vendor shipping contribution.
