djdn
Hi, I have setup authorize.net with their test account but it doesn't seems to be working or i may be missing something. I placed a test order on my site and got the following error Error: Response could not be authenticated as genuine on the link bar url shows as https://secure.authorize.net/gateway/transact.dll it does not give any option to complete the transaction Is SSL is required? joedunn
I am so frustrated I can't see straight. Is there someone I can pay for help? I must be missing something simple but am about ready to toss the whole thing and buy a shopping cart. Joe Dunn
OceanRanch
Hi Guys, Yes you need an SSL connection for this to work. Even then, there may be many issues that arise that might cause problems. Hopefully most of them can be resolved between your account rep at authorize.net and/or assistance here on this forum. However, sometimes it just takes a good old hacker to work through the issues. The more detail you post here the better chance of getting help. If you need a more dedicated source of assistance/help than what is here on the forum then you should hook up with someone very technical that you can call upon. I've got my own battle scars with Linkpoint! Try with the SSL and post what you can here. HTH Tom
