mallory885 Posted December 14, 2003 Posted December 14, 2003 I have hired a pro to get OScommerce installed for us. and also for it to work with our specifice gateway. and also to do customizable things to the shopping cart. they have access to create a database and all that however they want shell access and my boss does not want to give them that and says there is no reason why they should want that. Guest Posted December 14, 2003 Posted December 14, 2003 it makes it much easier to make single changes in the code, to follow the access logs and error logs to make sure things are going in the right direction. i dont work on a site very often without access, if someone wont give me that, then i can only let them know it takes a bit longer to troubleshoot and therefore the cost goes up. another note, your web site name should go in your profile, not in your signature here.
