If you were to click on it, I believe a - sign comes up implying sort in descending order. I don't recall where I saw it, but I know I read a thread where someone had substituted a graphic image for the + sign. Try searching for 'ascendingly' in general or installation forums and you should find it somewhere in there. If you put your cursor over it, you should see an (link)explanation. In the standard osco-version it's not easily spotted that it's link, you can change that (the linkcolor that is) in the stylesheet.css :-( The + and - characters are of course easily found in: /catalog/includes/functions/general.php approx on line 910: $sort_suffix = (substr($sortby, 0, 1) == $colnum ?
