Brain
I have just installed the Authorizenet ADC fool proof and get what it has me fooled. I get the nice error please try again. Question where is the error code from authorizenet? How can I tell where it is failing? I get the error whether I have it set as test or production. I am using the 4111111111111111 credit card number to test with. Any Ideas?? Thank you! Brain
Druide
Well what does your error say ? Most people are more skilled in reading errormessages then programming code (if you ask me...lol) Quote Robert We all need to learn it once, how hard it may seem when you look at it, also you will master it someday ;)
Brain
there is just a red banner at the top of the page. "There has been an error processing your credit card. Please try again." I don't know where to look for the error code. TY
Druide
Doh... A valid credit card # would help here ofcourse, there's no such thing as a 'test' credit card # Remember you need to be old enough to sign up for credit cards ;) (j/k) Quote Robert We all need to learn it once, how hard it may seem when you look at it, also you will master it someday ;)
Brain
I tried it with a real credit card number and I still get the same error, no error codes just a red banner at the top of the page. Is there settings i have to do at authorize.net to make this work? TY
dkap
A valid credit card # would help here ofcourse, there's no such thing as a 'test' credit card # No, that's not true. osCommerce advises a test number to use, and Authorize.net also provides "valid" test numbers in the user's manual. Is there settings i have to do at authorize.net to make this work? Well, yes... That's a rather open-ended question, though. Depends largely on what you've done so far to set things up. Also, I don't know which contribution the "fool proof" one is, but as of last month, all of the Anet contributions I'm aware of were at least partially buggy.
