Soon to be live..

Hi all.

We're set to be going live soon and I was hoping to get some fresh eyes to check out the store (and maybe test bandwidth a bit). I know one of the main issues folks have with sites posted here is the similarity to an out-of-the-box osC layout, so I thought I should mention that that layout is one of the reasons I went with osC, since it's similar to how our main site was set up. Hopefully it's not too out-of-the-box, but I'll leave that up to you. We're hoping to be live by the new year and just need to get the items entered properly. So there's alot of broken image links right now and many of the descriptions are sparse, but that should be remedied soon (the bulk herbs category has the most images right now).

Anyway, comments, good and bad, are appreciated.

The osC section is here: http://www.livingearthherbs.com/catalog/

The main site is here (to see what I was saying about the layout): http://www.livingearthherbs.com/

Thanks.

make your infoboxes square and the same width as on your original page. Remove column_right.php.

With a few hours work you could have your Osc Store look *exactly* like your original page.

Site looks great, but the home page is a bit text heavy. I would like a few pictures in the middle to break up all that text. In the shopping cart, you should cut out the currencies option as it is not really needed if you are only offering one. You already know about the images not loading. The colors are great, the layout is great. I like the way you organized the products. Looks good. -mark

It looks pretty good!!

The only comment is that the yellowish text is a little hard to read. Maybe increasing the font size is needed?

I bumped my site up two on each. If it was 10 stock, its 12 now.

Teeny colored letters mess with my half-blind arse, and if they mess with mine, I know I cant be the only one, so I upped it.

You may wanna try that and see if it makes it a little easier to read..

One of these days, I will actually understand what I just changed...

But reading the Manual DEFINATELY helps...

Thanks for the feedback everyone. Some good suggestions in there that I will definitely take into account when I revise this sucker (project 1 is to get it up and running smoothly).
