Guest Posted December 12, 2003 Posted December 12, 2003 Did you CHMOD all the directories it stated in the installation? Regards Rich
Guest Posted December 12, 2003 Posted December 12, 2003 I just chagned them from 706 to 777 and now the site OPENS Thanks Although now I am getting a new warning ?Warning: I am able to write to the configuration file: /home/roadside/public_html/catalog/includes/configure.php. This is a potential security risk - please set the right user permissions on this file. Should I change that back to 706?
Guest Posted December 12, 2003 Posted December 12, 2003 Yeah you need to change the CHMOD so public can't write to it. So change it to 706, should sort it out! Regards Rich
Guest Posted December 12, 2003 Posted December 12, 2003 706 did not work either... 704 worked... is this bad?
Guest Posted December 12, 2003 Posted December 12, 2003 No, not really, as long as it is secure. And no one can write to the file, then it is fine. Regards Rich
