Can we use infobox contents without infobox?

Hello,

 

I have been trying for a long time to use information contained in info boxes - without having the infobox!

 

E.g. I want to have the products notification as a link on the product_info.php page contained simply within the dimensions of a html table that I set - not in the column right as an infobox! Nor do I want it in an infobox within the product_info.php page!

 

I have tried various ways. One such way is creating a new plainBox class in boxes.php, and then changing taking the code from an info box and changing any reference to

new infoBox($info_box_contents);

to

new plainBox($info_box_contents);

 

And then creating a new plainBox class in your stylesheet. For more information on this please see THIS PAGE

 

Is this the only way? Or is there some other way?!
