Page load Done / no page displayed

I've installed osc on my site, the catalog/index.php and admin/index.php load correctly and display the default information with no errors generated. When you click on any of the links from either page, it displays a "Done" remark in the browser status area, but the all pages are blank. Why is this and how do I correct it???????

 

What are the recommened Unix account permission settings?
