faqtech Posted December 11, 2003 Posted December 11, 2003 In the product listing table that is part of the index.php file I have it listing all the products for that category. I want to include a custom border done in PS 7 as a background image. Is there a way I can add a background image to that cell that holds the product image. I don't want to take every image in to PS and add this border. My client will be updating this site and I want to make it as simple as possible so I though that if I added a background image it would display a the border. PS. the file I believe that has to be changed is the catalog/modules/product_listing.php Thanks for the help.
Guest Posted December 11, 2003 Posted December 11, 2003 Around lines 123-130 of includes/modules/product_listing.php, change case 'PRODUCT_LIST_IMAGE': $lc_align = 'center'; if (isset($HTTP_GET_VARS['manufacturers_id'])) { $lc_text = '' . tep_image(DIR_WS_IMAGES . $listing['products_image'], $listing['products_name'], SMALL_IMAGE_WIDTH, SMALL_IMAGE_HEIGHT) . ''; } else { $lc_text = ' ' . tep_image(DIR_WS_IMAGES . $listing['products_image'], $listing['products_name'], SMALL_IMAGE_WIDTH, SMALL_IMAGE_HEIGHT) . ' '; } break; to case 'PRODUCT_LIST_IMAGE': $lc_align = 'center'; if (isset($HTTP_GET_VARS['manufacturers_id'])) { $lc_text = '
' . tep_image(DIR_WS_IMAGES . $listing['products_image'], $listing['products_name'], SMALL_IMAGE_WIDTH, SMALL_IMAGE_HEIGHT) . '
'; } else { $lc_text = '
' . tep_image(DIR_WS_IMAGES . $listing['products_image'], $listing['products_name'], SMALL_IMAGE_WIDTH, SMALL_IMAGE_HEIGHT) . '
'; } break; Then you can define your background-image in CSS. You might have to do some tweaking afterward to get the foreground image to show in the right place. Hth, Matt
