goejen
Hi, I have a problem with the installation of OSCommerce at www.hypershop.dk - I have changed to permission on the file and under Administrator, but still, it is writing the error warning. What could be wrong? Best regards, Gitte Thorup
Guest
Looks like it's still wrong permisions on the file. Just change the permission so that it's only read for all users (groups, owner, all users). It should solve the problem. Do the same to /admin/includes/configure.php good luck
dchockenberry
Change permissions with FTP....if you tried to go in and change permissions thru your web browser, the settings didn't actually change. I had that problem also.
goejen
Hi, I have changed permission though ftp - i use ACE ftp. And the settings sticks, when the CHMOD value is 644. It just seems to use cashing, so I cannot refresh the settings on the server. But I cannot set it to CHMOD value 444, where the everybody can read but not write/execute. What can then be done? chrysalids
I am having problems with the writing error too.. I set the permission to 444 using WS_FTP but the security risk error message is still there.
