harrip Posted December 11, 2003 Posted December 11, 2003 Logging on this morning, I find one more e-mail from WorldPay the payment processor I have integrated with than there are e-mails from OS Commerce. WorldPay tell me that someone called had paid ?19.99. So I go into the back office and find the customer. I ring him and find that he did place an order. Peculiarly WorldPay took his payment but OS Commerce never told us he'd ordered. It appears that their has been a problem in the process at the time data is passed back to the store from Worldpay. If the customer entered his payment details in worldpay when prompted, but the page did not do a 'callback' to the store then I guess the hevenearth site would treat the transaction as not being completed and therefore deleted from the system. Has anyone had similar problems and overcome this? Many thanks, Peter
TomThumb Posted December 11, 2003 Posted December 11, 2003 If your osCommerce store doesn't get the payment confirmation from worldpay the cart contents will not be turned in to orders. If worldpay is having problems "POSTing" back to your site they should have errors in their log files. while (!succeed) {try()}; GMT -6:00
Guest Posted December 13, 2003 Posted December 13, 2003 I think yo are having the same problem that I and others have encountered from time to time. I posted my finding to this thread... http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=57152 However, I have not been able to find a fix to this problem.
