Guest Posted December 10, 2003 Posted December 10, 2003 OK its prob me over looking something. I installed STS "awesome contrabution" and then installed the Infobox skin manager following the install txt. Uploaded all the right files and input all the lines of code in the proper spots and checked the gblib2. Once you log in to the admin panel you can change the skin on the boxs all day but the changes never take effect on the catalog. what am I missing? I thought I dotted all the i's and crossed all the t's???? Thanks for any input that anyone can offer.
equilla Posted December 11, 2003 Posted December 11, 2003 Hi, I should be able to help you out on this one. I can say that the STS contrib and the Infobox Skin Manager do work together as I have been playing around with both of them too (contrastwigs dot net slash catalog) which does look completely rubbish, but it's just for messing with at the moment. First and most obvious thing to check is that you definitely copied across the new /catalog/includes/boxes.php from the Infobox Skin Manager. If you did, and as STS still uses the functions in this file to generate the infoboxes, you should be seeing at worst a whole bunch of missing images around each box. As I assume you are not getting this, then either the new boxes.php is not in place, or the possibily the following: The first version of the install instructions for Infobox Skin Manager failed to mention that you had to run the included .sql file on your database (oops, yes my error!!). If you didn't do this, or if you disable the skins through setting Configuration -> Infobox Skins -> Enable Infobox Skins? to false in admin, then you won't be seeing the skinned effect. Hopefully, the above will solve your problem. If not, come back to me and I'll see if I can look further into your problem for you.
