Guest
Ok, I have uploaded all the files to my server. Now when I did that, I just put the whole oscommerce folder which contains all the files. So in my public html folder you see the os commerce folder, then inside that, the catalog.... Is that a problem? Should I start all over and have the catalog in the public html instead? I hope this makes sense to someone. It took me forever to upload all that and I don't want to redo it if I don't have to. TIA
Guest
you only need the catalog folder in your public_html installation guide The_Bear
Guest
Ok, I put just the catalog in there and changed the permissions on configure.php to 706 and then to 777 and I'm still getting this error: The configuration files do not exist, or permission levels are not set. Please perform the following actions: cd /home/we3kings/public_html/catalog/includes/ touch configure.php chmod 706 configure.php cd /home/we3kings/public_html/catalog/admin/includes/ touch configure.php chmod 706 configure.php <_<
